odd skin discoloration

I'm so confused to what this may be. It keeps getting worse and it burns a bit. I didn't think it was anything dangerous. Can someone give me an answer to what this may be?

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
This looks like fungal or tinea versicolor infection and scratching could have caused wheal or redness. It can also be eczema or dermatitis. Antifungals can be applied (Clotrimazole 1%, Miconazole nitrate 2%, Tolnaftate 1% and Butenafine hydrochloride 1%). Many OTC products containing these salts are available, your pharmacist can help. Try a combination of two and apply until the marks you see disappear. For confirmed diagnosis please consult a skin specialist. Take care!

ring worm? i thought it'd be contagious and my husband hasn't gotten anything yet. I do have a doctors appointment the 24 so I'd probably talk to her then about it.

It looks somewhat like Ringworm; the picture is ok, but not really clear.

Have you consulted a physician yet?
