Hi,
As well as having a high ANA with great fatigue, I had developed a very painful hip joint/tendon primarily on the left side. It was determined to be hip flexor tendonitis and trochanor bursitis by orthopedic evaluator, and physical therapy has been prescribed.
Although my blood work doesn't indicate a B12 issue, my dr. has it set up so I can periodically get a B12 shot for fatigue. I hadn't had one for about 6 months or more as I hadn't noticed a huge difference the last few times I had had it done. However, I decided to have one the other day since I have, so far, unexplainable fatigue.
My ANA came back posative at 1:1280, but sed rate and other specific autoimmune tests are normal at this point. With all this in mind, is there any reason anyone knows of that after I had that B12 shot (the very next day) my hip pain decreased about 75%?
I will of course bring it up to my doc at my next appointment, but am just curiouse if there is anything I should inquire to have looked into regarding this.
Thanks so much for any input!
