recently i have been getting very sharp pains in what feels like inside my middle right hand side ribcage.liver region...all though not long ago had liver function tests and all was ok this starts from my tummy and works its way to my back, only feels a little better if i hold my ribcage.
Ontop of this my limbs in general are exremely weak, hands especially i do suffer from poor circulation but this is drifferent, Especially a rather painfull tingiling on my left palm under my thumb.
Left foot the arch bit continually cramps up as well...?
i feel like whats going on in my brain is taking my body 2 mins longer to realise...
i suffer bipolar and take lexapro for this but the past few days i have been on Ice and had a about 6 xanax 2mg during this weekend period and hence havent taken the lexapro
Also have had diaroeah..a normal daily thing for me...god knows why.
been very twitchy with my fingers but not in a normal "come down" way, i feel like im safe if im picking at my nails
nails have also become very smooth and shiny lately...almost greesy?
am i just going completely bonkers!?!?!
my partner has hep C and i am also concerned this chest pain may be liver?
been getting very hot flushes but then go back to normal freezing hands and feet??

Hi,

Most of your symptoms appear to be side effects of medications. Xanax can cause dizziness, fainting, weakness, muscle aches and pains, diahrrea, dry mouth, nervousness, restlessness and pounding in the chest.
Please discuss this with your treating doctor.
Treatment with xanax should always start with a low dose like 0.25 mg or 0.5 mg and then the dose should be gradually increased.
Please discuss this with your treating doctor and please remember not to increase the dose on your own.
Take care!

Sounds like you have a lot going on. First, did your liver tests include just liver function or did they test specifically for Hep C?

Has your thyroid been tested?

Medications can have some rough side effects - do some reading about yours and see if any of your meds could cause any of your symptoms. Time to work closely with a doctor you trust to make sure there's no condition you have that needs treatment or if you need a med change. I knew someone who had the birth control implants when they were new about 15 years ago. Did a number on her. What's good for one person may not be for another. Tell your doctor.
