problems driving me nuts... any suggestions?

21/f I'm constantly shaking/moving and i'm having a lot of muscle spasms. I can feel the bones in my neck "grind?" as my neck jerks. I feel like i'm drunk when i'm walking.I move side to side. I've been running into things a lot lately, especially when turning corners. I'm having trouble with buttoning buttons, writing, and doing almost everything i once was able to do. also im dropping things a lot. I feel really lousy in the hot sun, like i'm gonna come down with the stomach flu.. but it never happens. When i'm lying in a hot bath, the lights seem to dim and then i get really sleepy and i feel sick. My vision is screwed up very blurry and it feels like my eyes aren't moving together. i'm nearsighted and had my vision checked in sept05 but no vision change. My eyes move when i'm trying to fall asleep at night and my eyelids flutter.. I've been told im depressed over and over but i dont feel depressed. my weight keeps going up and down. i go from 104 to 111. this has happened at least 10 times in the past year. its because i gag when trying to swallow food like the muscles in my throat aren't working right. all my problems seem to come and go, but the movements have been constant for quite some time now. i get random pains all over, but they're almost always in the same place. since i graduated in 03, i've lost nearly all my muscle mass, probably from lack of use. I have numbness in my neck/throat, chest (above my breasts), ankles, finger tips, etc. Sometimes i get itches that feel like they're under my skin then the area goes numb. ex: ankles.

There are many blood tests to screen for autoimmune diseases. Something would be abnormal. Have you had any autoimmune tests? These might include ANA, SED-rate,Anti -Cardiolipin, Anti-DNA, Anti-Ro/SS-A, Anti-Sm antibodies, and Rheumatoid Factor, among others. Many autoimmune disorders overlap, and are very hard to diagnose.

wouldn't something come up abnormal with my blood tests if i had lupus? i do have an on going problem with pleurisy though. that started back in september. today while sitting in church i kept getting pains in my head and neck on the right side. the pain in the neck is like tendon pain and i also got it in the inside of my elbows and both have happened in the past. its the same pain that i had when i moved my neck last week. a warm burning pain up the side of my head. the neck area is also a little numb. the reason i never mentioned ANY of my problems to any doctor is because they're not all constant and for some dumb reason i always assumed if pain isn't constant its nothing to worry about. i'm sure i have some autoimmune diseases going on. i'm scared to death about huntington's though. the only family medical history i know is my birth mother was institutionalized for schizophrenia and alcoholism (reason my twin and i were immediately put up for adoption). my mom is a nurse and said people with huntington's have a tan color to them. i'm darker than my twin, that's for sure. but i also have brown hair and brown eyes.. she's the complete opposite (im sure you can figure that one out)

Yes, difficulty swallowing is EXACTLY what you should discuss with the ear/nose/throat doctor.

I answered further on your first post.

RE: my toes/feet are ALWAYS cold and my hands/fingers are cold when im not using them. toes and fingers are colder, usually. right now my toes are cold but sweaty.

Look up Raynaud's Phenomenon. This is not unheard of by itself, but is often part of an autoimmune disease such as Lupus.
