slobbering and slurred speach

My 28 yr old daughter was at the computer yesterday and when I came into the room, she was face down and appeared unconsious. She had only been at the computer a few minutes. I had trouble waking her up and her speech was slurred, she was drooling. She was unfocused. I called 911 immediately. By the time they arrived, within 8 min. or so, she was able to communicate, walk, and never at any time complained of any blurred vision. She was a bit confused at first, but knew her name, where she was, etc. She had complained of headache earlier, and numbness in her face and hand. She is not on any meds and rarely drinks. She has numbness in that hand because of carpal tunnel. Her blood pressure and blood sugar checked out okay, and she refused to go to the hospital and went to work this morning. She had blackout spells several years ago, she said, with no known diagnosis. What are some possible causes of what happened?

Could it perhaps have been a mild stroke or perhaps a seizure?  But if it has happened before it could possibly be a neurological disorder that is randomly triggered.  I would ask to be referred to a neurologist.
