smelly face and body odor

can tonsil stones leads to my smelly face problem, and my body odor? have bo and smelly face problems since i was 21. i'm now 35, felt all the embarrassing, traumatic humiliations of my life. my family doesn't want to accept my condition even if i beg them to understand me. they say they don't smell me, but every time i turn my back on them i could see them from the corner of my eye covering their noses. when i went into a room strangers covers their nose, and leaves with a comment. i really wanted to work, but because of this condition it is impossible to associate myself with people. i really wanted to die, but deep in my heart i want to live, and believe that i can overcome this...recently i saw a video in youtube about tonsil stones, i checked my tonsils, and found out that i have crypts on my tonsils but couldn't not see the stones..i made a small hook out of a twist tie wire, and plunged it inside the crypts, pulled it out and stones got hooked on it. i pulled all the stones from the crypts, and discovered  the other day that my smell improved. a week past but these stones are recurrent. i think i have to get  rid of my tonsils to get rid totally the smelly face, and bo. problem is i have no money for an operation! then, my petition came from the u.s.! i don't think i can pass the interview nor the medical exam on this condition..been waiting for this petition all my life..

many thanks for your advice and info's! i bought an oracare mouth rinse, it seemed taken out my bad breath, and improved my body odor just in 2 days time. from the past i been using alcohol based mouthwash that doesn't work for me, so i stop using those kind. i studied the ingredient of the oracare mouth rinse, and it said "stabilized chlorine dioxide". i was amazed, and curious why it did improved my condition so checked it out on the web. it says it kills every type of bacteria, virus, yeast, etc, and it's being used to purify water. i'm really desperate on getting rid of my bo so i can pass that medical exam, and interview.. i hope this chlorine dioxide will surely eradicate my problem! i will double up my oral hygiene, and will follow your advice doc. thanks for your reply doc, and more power to you!! God bless...

P.S.
ever since i used that mouth rinse stones are not forming, no tonsil stones inside the crypts for the past 3 days...i also bought a syringe and blunt out the needle to use it to spray the chlorine dioxide inside my smelly crypts...i think it works...i will update you with my progress...

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Yes, tonsoliths can cause very bad smell and it can appear to come from body—basically from around the person. These are made up of food particles, dead cells, and oral bacteria. Together these form hardened white balls and cause bad breath. The clue could be oral hygiene. Brush your teeth twice a day, rinse your mouth after every meal, and use a tongue cleaner. Most tonsils go away by good oral hygiene. Some you can scrape off yourself. Others a doctor can remove, especially an ENT. If they still persist please consult an ENT.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
