swollen feet and ankles due to surnburn! PLEASE HELP!!

hello, my girlfriend got sunburn 4 days ago and wokeup the next day with swollen feet and ankles. we have tryed everything to get them down but nothing is working. we hae tryed putting them in cold water, sitting with a wet towel on them, moisterising, flamma spray for sunburn, but nothing works.she is in alot of pain when she trys to walk. she's 22 years old and normally when she gets out of a hot bath her feet go black and blue could this have anything to do with it??? please help we dont have long left of our holiday and we are scared that the airports will not let her get on a plane.

It's Edema. I think they are treated with cortisone (oral) I'm not sure you need to consult a Doctor.

It will regress spontaneously you should rather investigate the causes of such Sun sensitivity.

have her lie flat with her feet raised up on pillows above her head and above her heart. Watch your salt intake and drink a lot of water. I know that seems weird but the more water you ingest the more you will urinate and flush the fluid out of your system. Hope this helps!
