swollen lymphnodes begnin biopsy

I have had swollen lymphnodes under my arms for 6 months. i have had 3 nodes removed. negative for lymphoma. i am anemic also with no apparent cause. i now have another very large node at the surgery site. PET scan showed activity at the surgery site as well as very small activity on my liver. any ideas what could be causing these symptoms? hiv negative.

Well.. good luck. It sounds like you could have an acute infection. However, I would consider asking your physician about a bone marrow biopsy and see if he/she thinks that may help.

You never know though.. they could remove your gallbladder and everything clears up. Sometimes things happen that way. = )

Happy Holidays and let us know what it is.. if you find out, okay ?

Good luck !

yes, lymphoma has been ruled out by 3 independent labs. no bone marrow biopsy. i am having a viral blood panel after christmas. checking for ebstien barr. also for hep. b.  also a repeat on the pet scan. i really have no other symptoms. fatigue, low red cells, high white cells, high platlets. must be viral. these enlarged nodes worry me. i still think it's some weird lymphoma. i also need my gallbladder removed. it is full of stones. everyone who sees my films can not believe i am not having acute symptoms. my aniema has maintained at the same level for 4 months. no worse or any better. very strange.

Have they checked you for hepatitis ? Also, I'm sure your physicians' have ruled out lymphoma. Did they do a bone marrow biopspy ? And do you have any other symptoms, other than the swollen lymph nodes ?
