symptoms have left me lost and confused

I used to be in perfect health until a lack in judgement while on vacation in Feb 2007.  I had oral sex while intoxicated.  I swallowed some semen.  Every since this stupid action, I have not been the same physically.  Below are the following symptoms:

strange sensation feeling in both sides of my head.
dry eye symdrome
left eye twitching
pimple breakouts all over my body
throat discomfort (feels like something in clogged)
stomach and rib pains that come and go abruptly
bulching
spitting more than usual
sore anus off and on
tingling in hand and feet
pain in groin and knee
difficult concentrating
memory problems

Do you think this could be herpes affecting my nervous system?  Sometimes, it feels as though I can't take this discomforting feeling.

I guess I am the only to have ever done something so foolish and life altering.   Now my forehead is throbbing like hell.  This last year has been pure hell.  Every day and hour I feel discomfort or pain.  I am at my wits end.

As awkward as it may be - go and get checked out by a doctor.  Perhaps you caught something else.  Tell your doctor your symptoms and where your were.  this could be crucial information as there might have been something floating around where ever you vacationed at.

Also, it seems odd to me that by swallowing semen your anus would hurt.... or affect your memory....  if that was the case then perhaps that is why all men are a pain in the *** and don't remember anything you tell them.  I honestly don't believe it was due to the oral sex, but to something else that happened to you around the same time.  Perhaps you fell or hit something when you were drunk and don't remember it and it is causing all the pain.  Please go and see a doctor to get checked out.

I dont know if what your feeling is herpes. Sometimes you dont have any signs and symptoms at all with herpes. One thing in women with herpes you could experience pain and sores around the buttoxs. I would hate to say maybe the guy had something besides herpes. You really should go get tested for Hepitatis and hiv virus. As a medical student, no matter how embarressed you are, trust me when saying we see these kinda things more then you realize. Probably worse. I hope you do go see your doctor and tell him exactly whats going on. Because if there is something you want to catch it asap. Dont let something embarressing run your life.
