Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
A lump that feels warm and is present on the side of the face (underneath where the earlobe attached to my face) could be a swollen lymph node or a chronically inflamed parotid gland or a parotid abscess (localized collection of pus) or an abscess not involving the parotid gland.
This may need to be drained, treated with antibiotics and you must consult a doctor immediately. Take care!
I would definitely see a doctor in this case. It could just be a boil or benign cyst that may need to be lanced; however a doctor should rule other possilbilites out.
i dont mean to scare you but my uncle had a growth in the same place. he was quickly diagnosed with cancer and passed away a couple weeks ago. theres no reason to think this is the same thing but i would definitely get it checked as soon as possible.
