Any Ideas?

Hello, I am fifteen years old. I don't participate in physical sports, but I often take longs walks or jogs. For the past year or so I've been having shortness of breath and start blacking out. It used to happen once or twice a month, and I'd tell my mom, but she never really did much.
Eventually we went to the doctor and I was diagnosed with asthma, and that was that. However, lately I've been having breathing difficulties more often, but also my vision starts to blur and I begin falling. It's been happening three or four times a week now, and usually after I've been in the shower or, yesterday, for example, after doing an activity such as reading or drawing for an extensive amount of time, and then getting up.
It may or may not be related, but people also have been telling me that I've been losing weight, and I occasionally see confetti-like sparks of light floating around me for about thirty seconds. If it matters, I just had a Urinary Tract Infection a few weeks ago. Does anyone have any ideas of what it could be, or any advice? I've been known to be a hypochondriac at times, but this is really worrying me.

Hi
Thanks for writing to the forum!
If there is a loss of weight (your weighing machine will tell you that) then you should get yourself investigated for anemia, diabetes, hyperthyroid state, worms and low blood pressure. Presence of any or all these can explain your symptoms. Otherwise I would say you are overanxious. Try deep breathing exercises and meditation to calm your nerves. Also this will help improve asthma.
Hope this helps. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage. Your family physician can help you in this. Please let me know if there is any thing else and do keep me posted. Take care!
