Anxiety, Migrane, or Circulation?

Since my late 20s,  I would would get attacks constituting of just not feeling right, followed by a tingling sensation and some numbness on one side of my face.  I then get dizzy to the point where I feel as though I am going to faint.  My hands become clammy and I get exhausted.  These episodes at first were very infrequent, but seem to be increasing lateley.  I was told that I had anxiety issues so I went to the classes and took meds that were prescribed. Since they dd not seem to be working (I still had episodes even though I am relatively stress free) I went off the meds.  On one visit to the emergency room, the doctor said it could be a circulation problem and I should see a cardiologist.  On another visit to emergency, I was told it was a migraine aura, and the fact that I did not get a headache afterwards was irrelevant.  Any suggestions--I am at wits end?

I too had these identical symptoms at one time.  There were frequent emergency visits.  They too thought it was my heart.  The cure for me was to loose weight and to stop feeling depressed.  Today, I have lost weight and BMI is 23.3 and I am taking Prozac and none of the symptoms have returned.

Hello- I have gone thru similar issues, however mine were found to be neurological(www.devinsdiary.com)  Obviously we are all very different the way our body handles stuff. I do know stress, anxiety, etc can do all kinds of things to your body as well.  I have learned breathing excercises and to monitor my bodys " typical" by keeping a daily journal and showing the dr's after charting so I can show: OK- this is exactly what happened, before, during, and after in the past two weeks. I pray you get a proper diagnosis, or cure for that matter as I know it is no fun to feel that awful. If you'd like to talk please let me know.>>Feel better!!!!! :)  D
