stomach pain

I've been having severe abdominal pain for 3 years now. Every time I go to the doctor or ER, they tell me they don't find anything and send me home. I've had many test and still nothing. My mom passed away a few years ago from Ovarian Cancer and she went threw the same situation. When I have asked the doctors in the past, they tell me I am too young. If anyone has any clue of what could be wrong with my stomach, please let me know. I am running out of patience, money, and ideas of what it could be.

They say that in some cases it is so deep inside the organs or behind organs that they don't find it.  But I am sorry to hear that you went through the surgery and nothing was found.  If I can come up with anything else I will let you know but endo is the only thing that popped into my head.  Best wishes.

Some of your symptoms sound like it could be endometriosis. I I had lower stomach pain consistently for months. And at times it felt like sharp stabbing pains. I had pain radiate down into my upper legs and like clock work my bowels became very loose and unpredictable before my period each month.  I don't know if you know anything about endometriosis but I read on a website that on average it takes 6 years for a women to be properly diagnosed with endo because the symptoms are so much like other condtions.  The only reason I was properly diagnosed was because a woman I work with told me it sounded like I had endo and I questioned my doctor.  But prior to that I had been to the doctor atleast a dozen times and was repeatedly told I was fine and that nothing was wrong with me.  The thing about endo is that its diagnosis can only be confirmed with laproscopic surgery, which I just had last month.  Hope this helps and keep me updated.

Before my peroid was like clock work. I didn't have any heavy cramping or anything like that. The pain shoots into the upper part of my left leg. I have gained some weight  but not sure if it is from the depo or not. Before I got on the depo I couldn't gain any weight and now I can't loss it. The only other sympthom I have is that sometimes I am a little constipated and others I can't hold it in for any period of time.

I am not trying to get personal but how was your mestrual cycle before getting on the shot?  Did you have long periods? short?  heavy? regular? painful?  Do you ever have lower back pain? Or pain that radiates in you upper legs?   And do you go through short periods of time when you have looser stool then others?

I am 20.  The pain is here most of the time. I don't have a menstral cycle because I was resently on the Depo shot, but the pain started way before that. It is a really sharp pain that gets sharper at times.

How old are you?  Do you have any other symptoms?  Does the pain come for a week and then go away for two or three? Or is it constant all of the time?  Sharp pan?  Aching? etc?

It is the lower left side. The pain is really sharp.

To get an accurate response, you need to tell us the location and nature of the pain?  Is it upper or lower?  Left or right?  Burning, cramping, stinging?  What?
