headaches/tingling in the head

i'm the ripe old age of 34 and in very good shape and on 3/31/06 i landed on my head after sparring in a jiujitsu match. i shook it off and after four days of headaches i went to the ER got a CT scan they told me i was good and i split. After 2 weeks of daily headache, tingling in the head and face and sensitivity to light in my eyes i went to see my PCP. My PCP gave me a series of nuero tests said i was cool and discharged me. After another two weeks i went again and the same thing. then it felt better for a week and then i self "cracked" my neck and it is back again. any thoughts. i can do anything but the sensation is there and i'm a read freak so i here terms like spinal cord compression and brain swelling i think wow. On the other end is this in my head. No pun intended.

I had the same issues. I was a college gymnast and crunched my neck and mellon falling off rings. I had regular headaches and sensitivity to light. in fact, I would even go blind in one eye from time to time. Physicians had no idea. After telling a local optomotrist, I was told that it would eventually go away. And over time... it did. Today I have episodes about once a year vs once a month. My neck however... could use some fusion! HA!

you're right, my symptoms started after an incident however and then disappeared after a freaky head message. came back after the popping. i see a legit chiro once a year or so. the symptoms don't bother me if i know i'm not going into paralysis or anything like that. i've lived a luckly athletic life coming out of all this stuff pretty clean, but the magic number of age always wins in the end i guess. thanks for the info.
