Penile Pain

Dear Doc,

Here's my story: In December I slept with a chinese girl (in the US w/ condom). She had just come from China. Anyway, I had a test for all STD's and everything came back negative (except HPV which cannot be tested for in men without warts). In late May, I started experiencing terrible testicular and penile pain. I went to the emergency room and they diagnosed me with epididymitis and I was treated with antibiotics which cured the testicular pain. The penile pain was still there. In June, I woke up one morning and had a redness on a small section of the corona. I've been applying Lotrimin for two months now and it still has not gone away. Also in June, I noticed a small hard (not moveable) lump under the skin (on the topside of the shaft) but it was only noticeable when the penis is erect.

The penile pain is throughout the penis and sometimes I feel it goes into the body with a sharp but short groin pain. I've been to 4 urologists. The first told me to masturbate more, the second said i was crazy, the third told me to do a cystoscopy but he felt that it wouldnt show why my penis was in pain, and the last told me it would eventually go away. The third and fourth both brought up Peyronies and the first one said he felt plaque and the second one said that if there's no curve and you've been in pain for two months, than it is not Peyronies. Now a few days ago, I notice that a portion of my corona was getting darker (blacker).

I honestly don't know what else to do. What would be my next step. I'm scared that it's cancer (because I may have caught HPV from that woman from china). The pain is killing me and the discoloration (black and red) & lump make me feel that its definitely cancer.

Thank You

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
You have had a comprehensive evaluation, including 4 urologists.  It would be unlikely that I can come up with something new over the internet.

I agree with the assessment thus far.  The prostate should be further evaluated with a prostatic massage or transrectal ultrasound.  A cystoscopy can evaluate the lower GU tract, looking for any infections.

Imaging the penis can be considered with an ultrasound.  This can evaluate for any masses or Peyronie's disease.

These options can be discussed with your personal urologist.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.

Once again im sorry but I forgot to add that:  I asked my urologist whether I can get an ultrasound on the penis and he told me there was no such procedure. Is there anyway I can schedule an ultrasound without going to a urologist? Maybe I can ask my GP? What exactly do I ask for?

Forgot to say that a urine test came back fine. Anything else I should consider?
