I am going to the bathroom many, many times during the day, and at least once or twice at night. I have been to 2 urinologists. I have had a IVP Test, a cystoscopy, urine measuring test, ultrasound, blood test, urine test, and urine culture work done. One urinologist said I was a confusing case because I urinate a lot like an overactive bladder, but even though I urinate a lot, I still retain urine in my bladder and it's like an underactive bladder. The first urinologist recommended different medications, but nothiing helped. The second urriologist recommended Detrol LA which did not stop the frequent urinatation, and there was at least one or two times during the day where I felt extreme pressure duriing the need to urinate, but couldn't go for at least 1 to 1-1/2 hour later. He said it was possible I had a "sensitive bladder". I can't be the first person who has had this problem, but no one can recommend or give me something to some this very frustrating situation. I even went to the emergency room, because I was going to the bathroom one day every 10 to 15 minutes and I wasn't drinking anything. It was like my system was manufacuring urine. They put me on a medicine that I could only take for 3 days as it was bad for the kidneys. This helped a very little bit, but I had to stop because of the amount of time I could take it. Can you give me any idea what I have and how it can be treated?. I am tired of living this way. Thank you
