problem in the plumbing

I am having a urinary issue and would like some input. For awhile now, probably about two months I have this feeling of discomfort after I urinate like there is some left in my track. The sensation goes from behind my scrotum all the way up the urethra. There is no burning or discharge. When I have to go it feels a little more urgent than usual. Kinda like that "burning feeling" when you really have to go but I dont go more than a normal amount. I went to GP and was prescribed Cipro XR 1000mg and Avodart. She did a digital rectal exam of my prostate and determined it to be enlarged/inflamed. Took that for 7 days not much of a change so after 5 days I started another 7 day course. At the beginning of that course I saw another doctor ,a little more experienced with prostate problems and he did a urinalysis, took blood and did an STD screen as well as checked for abnormal psa levels. He also did a DRE and determined that my prostate was of normal size and recommended that I stopped Avodart. All tests came back neg and showed no infection. I should also mention that I went in for my normal physical and had blood drawn again and those tests came back normal( liver, kidneys, etc.) Now I sholud tell you that I have had this problem with my left leg and back stemming from a foot problem that I have where the pain was in my foot and has travelled up my leg and into my lower back on left side. I have "reffered pain" across my whole lower back now compounded by sitting in front of a computer leaning in because of bad eyes and a two hour round trip drive. Sitting and putting pressure on the area between auns and scrotum seems to cause more discomfort and just moving around in my chair it almost feels like a bubble of fluid moves up the urinary tract. I hope I have explained this well enough and haven't confused. I have tracked my bathroom habits and use it 5-7 times a day occsionally having to get up in the middle of the night to go. Not sure where the physical part of this all ends and the mental begins if at all. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Infection certainly has been evaluated for with the tests you have had.  Cipro normally is pretty good for most common causes of UTI and prostate infections.

Non-infectious possibilities can include a urethral structure, polyp or other anatomical abnormality.  You can consider a cystoscopy to image the lower GI tract and give a more definitive answer.

It is possible that the neurological symptoms may be related - but this is difficult to say without examination.  If the urological workup is non-revealing, you can consider a neurology evaluation.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
