I have been taking Phentermine for about 3 weeks. I have been going to the gym daily 30-40. I watch what I eat. I mean I don't eat much and I still can't seem to lose weight. I am not hungry so I don't eat much
What do o do to start losing weight. What am o doing wrong.

I have taken phentermine for a year and two months on and off. I was 210 when I first started and now I'm 163. I didn't  any bad side affects, I'm. Very happy with the out come. I go to the gym 3 to 4 times out of the week to work out, just to stay fit and tone.

I too have done Phentermine (it is banned in canada now) and lost weight. You cannot be on it forever and your advice is bang on!! You do have to get up and move to burn calories. The food tracker in here is awesome!! It really makes you look where your food calories are coming from.

I have done Phentermine and Fastin and other pills and patches and things you put in your coffee and stuff you do every other day and on and on....
Feb 15, 2011- I decided enough was enough. I finally accepted that to lose weight, I will have to actually Get Up Off The Couch and DO something. I started by walking on a treadmill (started at a mile) and now I am up to 2 miles. I have cut out 99% of sodas and sweet tea. No junk food. If I have a munchy attack, I'll get carrots or grapes or a banana.
I have lost 18.5 pounds from 2-15 thru 4-2 with NO drugs.

I have also learned that if don't eat enough, your body will store what you do it as fat, so it's important to not let your body not think it's starving by eating small GOOD meals instead of skipping.

It's frustrating and hard, but anything worth while usually is. Good Luck!

I strongly recommend against taking phentermine.  It unfortunately is only mildly effective, and the effect goes away when you stop taking it. I'm also concerned about potential side effects and health risks related to it.

You might find it helpful to see a nutritionist or dietician to discuss your typical food day to see where you might be able to start making some changes!
