I called the doctor about the lower left side pain, reply was. it it the pain last longer then and hour or does not go away for some time come in.
I not sure if that was a good reply and maybe need to change doctors.
I had a similar thing. I had what I thought was reflux but wasn't sure if that was connected. My doctor asked me questions about changes in bowel motions, etc. Stuff like that. He was keen to have a look but I didn't want him touching me.
I thought maybe it was a strain but I think it was most likely related to food. I felt it was worse after eating fatty, spicy food.
I would definitely get it checked out.
I can't be sure. Pain that occurs with food often points to an issue in the gall bladder or bile ducts, although those are on the right side. It makes sense to talk to your doctor and get checked out!
It seems like relatively good advice. There is only so much a doctor can do over the phone. (Or when a neurotic patient won't let them examine them.)
If you are still experiencing the pain or have concerns then you should see your doctor.
My doctor checked my temperature too. I think a raised temp may be associated with ?gallstones. Mine was 37.2 oC (within the normal range).
I'm interested to see what your problem is so that I can self-diagnose my own. I really shouldn't do that but my pain has gone for now so I don't view it as being anything urgent.
Talk to your doctor and if you are still unhappy then get a second opinion.
Good luck.
