Are there any Doctors that can help with Depo Provera weight gain problems?
My wife gets a Depo Provera shot every three months and is having a very hard time losing weight. She barely eats (and when she does, its on the keto diet), she works out two hours a day, and is very active. The scary part is that earlier in her life, when she got off Depo, she gained even more weight than when she was on it. It's incredibly frustrating that she has to go to these great lengths to try and not gain weight, especially when getting off of it is even scarier. We need to meet with a doctor that has seen this happen to other people (her OBGYN and nurses don't believe her) and can provide a plan for her to go back to loving her body and not having to work out 2 hours a day while eating nothing. I was wondering if anyone knows of any doctors that are aware of this issue and are able to help her get through it.
