OK, I am 23, 5'7" and I weigh 241 pounds. I have always been "obese" I meet the term definitions anyway ...
I was searching around the internet for calorie calculators and every single one ive seen says that a woman my age, weight, height and activity level should consume at least 2500 - 2800 calories in a day to maintain my body weight and cut it by 500 calories a day to lose a pound a week with or without excersise.
this is ludicrous! I have a 2 and 3 year old and i'm telling you, there are days when they eat more than i do. I don't even come close to 2000 calories a day. I only eat 1-2 small to medium sized meals a day with no snacking and water or diet soda to drink. no junk, candy, nothing like that. can anyone shed some light on this? or link me to a website that has real facts and real tips?
if this is true about how much i should be eating ... now i really feel isolated because i obviously don't follow the curve ... thanks so much
