Teddybear is right! In addition to it,
1. increase your daily protein intake
2. Drink plenty water before meals
3. Do not eat anything except water within about an hour of workingout.
4. Stop anything that contains refined or processed sugars.
All the best

If you are trying to lose weight I recommend cutting out all fast food all together and sodas aswell as being active. Also anything with trans fat as it does no good for your body. Try not to eat more then 5g of saturated fat daily. I also try to watch my calorie intake daily and try my best to not exceed 1,200 calories. Sometimes even 1,000. I've been doing this since Febreuary of this year and have went from weighing over 300 lbs to 240 lbs. and still losing weight.
It's real tough at first, and I know it's hard to break away from certain foods but I promise you it gets alot easier over time and you will feel like a totally different person. So if you try something similar like I did I'm sure you will see results.
As for you being normal, I'm sure you are. Just perhaps you won't dieting right. Don't try to starve yourself either, because once you try to eat you will over fill yourself and that can cause you to gain weight.
