Have you seen your doctor to make sure that you have healed up well enough after surgery to start an exercise program? Lots of times people gain weight after surgery because they are less mobile and more sedentary. It's time to get moving! Talk to your doctor, get off the weight loss supplements, and start concentrating on diet and exercise! Good luck!
I don't think it's necessarily about trying harder but about prioritizing and planning your day.
I think you need to make the time to sit down and eat healthy meals at appropriate times. I think I'd probably be passed out somewhere if I had to wait till 2 pm for breakfast. Going that long without food (and with a busy schedule) can't be healthy.
I expect the doctor, despite his schedule (whatever that looks like -probably busy after a break) takes time for breakfast and himself.
I think establishing a regular routine (including meals, family time -which could be a walk, etc) is very important. I expect this would take a huge amount of stress and pressure off both you and your family.
I would also try and incorporate some of that dancing in your life too.
The doctor often says that sleep helps with weight loss. He has some tips on his blogs if you want to check them out. They can be a good resource.
God luck!!
Thank you for taking time of your busy schedule to answer my question. I am a busy mom of four. I have a child in elementary school, one in middle school and two in high school. I have a home office and work from home and take care of the house. I hardly have time for myself but I am coming and going all the time. My eating habits are not the best, it is not what I eat; it is when I eat it. Sometimes it is 2:00 pm when I am having my breakfast! I am also going to bed very late and hardly sleep anything thru the night and then get up at 6:00 am. I am tired all the time. The only thing that I am doing as far as exercise goes is half an hour of a bike. I love to dance but hardly have time for that anymore. My doctor gave me the ok to exercise. So, I'll try harder. Again, thank you!
