I'm scheduled for an abortion this Saturday.?

Please don't judge.....

feel pressured into have an abortion by my ex boyfriend, and Idk what to do.

so it started when he called me to tell me that I had two options. #1 is to have an abortion and get to how things were. #2 is to keep the baby but that's the baby is only mine.

I at first was every against it but he Started insulting me fighting with me saying that he was going to sign off right to the baby and that I was a stupid for having a baby knowing that he wasn't going to be in the picture and that I didn't have money or career.
He also got his mom to try to get me an abortion. I'm just so confused and unsure to do. I keep asking God what to do to please show me a sign or show me to the right path.

Anyways what's your opinion please no harsh ones, I'm already feeling like crap.

This forum is a woman's choice forum.  We discuss all choices and termination is an acceptable choice.

I guess what I hear you saying is that you are in this alone.  He's not wanting a baby and while you may get some child support from him by taking him to court, he will never be a father to your child.  He sees the baby as a problem and wants the problem to go away.

So, how do YOU feel?  Can you handle this alone?  Having a child is, as Remar wisely states the hardest thing you'll ever do.  Let alone by yourself before you are financially or emotionally prepared for parenthood.  If you were to keep the baby, what would this mean for you?  Where would you live?  How would you provide for the baby?  are you ready to give up your social life to be in charge of a child as that is basically what you do.  Moms go to work or are taking care of their kids.  It's rough.  So, you must be very practical about your ability to raise a child at this point of your life and if you think you can do it, plan everything out and prepare.  If not, think of your other options.  Termination does make sense when a baby is not a good idea at this time.  You don't have to go through a pregnancy, give birth, and then raise a child.  Let no one sugar coat parenthood for you.  Pregnant women get excited and they eventually find how very hard it is.  Babies are easy. Toddlers are a little harder but still pretty easy.  Children are VERY hard.  But many a single mom does it.  But if you just don't really see yourself being able to, then termination is an option that our laws support.  Adoption is another.  This works well to give another family the chance to raise a baby that they can't have and you get to go on with your life and have a family when you are with a man that wants to have a child with you so you can be a family.

BUT, no one can make the choice for you.  You have to think about what makes the most sense.  No option is perfect and none are terrible ---  it's a matter of choice.  good luck

I'm not sure how the law works. But, if he signs over his rights you may not get child support from him. If he does not sign them over and you get child support he may be able to have visitation and you will have nothing to say about it.
If you decide to go through with this pregnancy and have him sign his rights over before the baby is even born you have to be prepared to support this child on your own. It's not easy because babies are costly and they take all of your time. Do you have a good support system, family and friends that will be there for you?
Raising a child is the hardest job you will ever have. You really need to think about what you will go through if you do this on your own.
I'm glad we women have options. It does have to be your decision though.

Don't do something your gona regret. An abortion leads to depression in a woman at some point in her life even if she was 100% sure she didn't want to have it. I can tell ur stuck and don't know What to do, in my opinion I would blank out every single word he said and think only about your self and the baby inside you after all that's YOUR BABY it's gona hurt you more then it ever would to him to get an abortion. Your ex is an ******* and so is his mother for thinking he is in the right to tell you that if you keep it he's out of the picture. Btw there's Child Support if you chose on having the baby so yea no matter if he wants it or not in the end he's still gona give you half his pay check.
It's all up to you and whatever decision you make I hope it's the right one for yourself.

It's really hard to raise a baby alone but if you've considered everything like how long you're going to be away from the babu due to work and school, how you're going to celebrate everything good your baby does on your own. Doctor appointments, first days of school. You're going to be on your own. Don't let these women make you think that a wonderful man is going to come and be an amazing step dad right off the bat. It's hard raising a baby with little support But you will be able to do it on your own if you're willing to. If you don't think you can provide your baby with what they deserve on your own then have the abortion, learn from your choices and never look back. If you keep the baby then don't spend your days wishing your ex will change his mind, you need to let that go. Remember there's some assistance out there, rely on support from your family and spend your pregnancy being happy. Abortion is not the worst option. Not if you think you can't give your baby the best. Any opinion on here based on their personal feelings on abortion is bs. Have the abortion now sweetie if you're going to, if not then decide you will give this baby a stress free home for the next 9 months NOW

I think you should keep the baby! Idk your financial situation but theres help for women with babies and theres resources. Dont let a man tell you what to do ever no matter how much u think u love them. You already said your not getting back together with him so him giving you that ultimatum shouldn't influence your decision on keeping your baby. I know that everyone has thier own opinions on abortion but statistic show that most women who have a abortion regret thier decision and suffer from depression after making that choice, im not saying that it will happen to u because its ultimately up to u but u shouldreally think about going thrthrough with this if theres a bit of doubt in your heart then dont do it and dont live with regret.

I hope you see this considering how many people have commented on this. The beginning of last year the exact same thing happened to me. And that man was soo mean about he. He broke me down in every way he could. So like a coward i went with what HE told me to do. And i regreted it every day after. If you want to try and keep this baby you do it for you. Do not let anything he says put input into your desition. No it will not be easy but woman do it everyday. I was depressed for a whole year. I didnt want to do anything with my life. All i could do was sulk and every night cry thinking about what if. It wad thr worst decition in my life. So please think about what your doing

I can't comment my opinion because it won't be polite.

But I'm curious as to the cost of abortion?

Let him sign his rights over and take him to court for child support. Don't let him influence your decision especially if you really want to keep the baby. The guy I was with told me to get an abortion and said **** to me too but I didn't let that stop me from keeping it. Eventually he came around but it took awhile and even if he didn't turn around and say he would be there. I would of kept the baby regardless. But that's just me.

If he's acting like that then he does not need to be in your life or baby if you change your mind. I will not judge because I've had two abortions.  If you want honesty you need to look at your life and see if you are ready to be a mom. Bringing a baby into the world is beautiful if you are ready and feel you can do it. I can promise it's not easy in any way. I had my first at 16 and my second at 17 it was hard and their dad was an ******* never helped me with anything.  It was all up to me to grow up and be the best mom I could be for them knowing that me and their dad would not be together. I couldn't picture my life any other way then it turned out. They are 6 and 7 years old now and I found some one who is a great father to them and we're expecting our first together.  What ever you choose is your choice and do not let him preasure you into it because eighther way it seems like he don't want to be around.

I honestly think you should not go off of his feelings.  He honestly doesn't care about you if he's only giving you those unreasonable options.  You can be happy with out him and still have your baby to live you.  He'll feel it eventually when your baby calls someone daddy. I say forget what he thinks and try giving your baby a chance.  Good luck ♡

I feel like you wouldn't be writing this post if you didn't love your baby...  forget him, he's not worth hurting yourself over and years of possible regret. Everyone deserves a chance at life.

I'm just going to tell you what I think straight up. I'm not going to be mean about it. I think that abortion is the worse possible chance that you could go with. The baby doesn't deserve to due just because the daddy doesn't want it. You always have other options! You can have that sweet precious baby and take care of it yourself or you can give it up for adoption.  You can get on Medicaid and wic to help you out with money too and they will pretty much always accept you since you're pregnant. In my eyes if your boyfriend wanted to lay down and make the baby with you then he should have something to do with it but please don't just kill the baby because he doesn't want to step up to the plate to be a daddy.

I would completely forget about that t*at. And focus on you and this miracle you've been blessed with. Some people can't have children and it's such a blessing to look after another tiny human being you would never love someone as Much. And all they want is love ❤ don't think about what anyone else says and focus on what u want x

He doesn't love you. A man that would love you would be more than happy to have a baby with you. I'm sorry but I would leave his *** and stay with the baby with him or with out him. I'm sorry I'm really against abortion especially if it's because of a stupid immature guy. I don't think you should do it. I would keep MY baby.

In the end it's not his choice it's your if he is being like that from know if you do get the abortion he won't change I had an abortion at 16 and was forced into it and It was the worst thing I ever did I constantly thing about that baby and wish my family and boyfriend at the time would have let me give the baby up for adoption like I wanted. I know have a 4 year old little girl and baby number 2nd the way I'm due March 4 and wouldn't trade my kids for anything in this world

I personally do not believe in abortion and believe every child has the right to be in this world as muchas you and me. But if YOU believe its the right decision then go ffor it. But do it for you....but not for your ex. You can do it...raise a child on your own. I know many women who can and the government is always willing to help out mothers inneed.

Don't let him make that decision for you. If that's what you choose, what you feel is best, then that's your choice and I'll leave it there. But don't let some stupid guy tell you what you have to do with your body, especially if he's not sticking around either way! Honey if you don't want to get an abortion, you have options. Please please don't go through with this because you're unsure what to do. Get an OBGYN or midwife and they can help you. Whether that's abortion, adoption, or being a single mother. They can help you objectively. They can discuss risks and benefits and whatnot for whichever choice you make.

Good things will ALWAYS come as you eliminate the bad in your life.im sorry I feel soo strongly if a man wants gone then let him get gone. If you want the baby then keep it. Dont let some little kid tell you what to do with your baby. At the end of the day the choice is no ones but your own. Id look into it hard. Go look at hoe they do abortions also maybe you can do adoption instead.

Wow , that's so mean of him to say . Maybe he should have kept his penis in his pants if he didn't expect a baby to be in the picture! You should do whatever you feel , I honestly am against abortions . If you can't take care of the baby there are other options & an abortion shoyld never be #1. You can always have your child adopted by a family member and/or someone you feel can take care of this child.
