Periods after birth

How long will my period last after birth if I breastfeed my son ...this is my first child so I'm new to everything! Literally

Are you referring to the post partum bleeding or are you wondering when you're period will return after birth?

For me postpartum bleeding lasted about 8 weeks and then I didn't have another period until I stoped breastfeeding for me that was when my son was almost 4 months old.
