Anyone use Paragard IUD?

Hi,
I've had two kids and not planning on anymore. I can't take hormonal birth control and my obgyn suggested an IUD. Does anyone have one of these and what has your experience been?
Thanks!

Thank you for the feedback. It's so hard looking for non-hormonal options! And I'd rather not start using something that is more trouble than it's worth.

yes, i have the paragard (copper iud) non-hormonal. To me it *****. Ive had it for 8 months now and it gives me problems. When i first got it i bled for almost a month and a half. THE BEST PART is ive only had 2 periods since but they are unpredictable. whenever whenever. Ive been to the er twice because weird pain in my ovaries, but they never did anything about the pain. I believe there are cysts on one or both of my ovaries. i HATE HORMONES but i need to find a better alternative bc for myself because i need this thing out. Plus the strings went almost all the way inside my cervix and i myself had to pull my own strings down. hope this helps
