I have read on a different site that a woman got pregnant within weeks of not getting another depo shot. However normally it does take 12-18 months to get your body back to normal after depo. I had many problems with depo, and didn't get a period for 6 months after it and was feeling pregnant, but it was my body going through withdrawl of the drug. I only got the period after 6 months because my doctor gave me a hormone drug (provera) to jump start my period. Also, usually doctors schedule the womans next depo appt before they actually need it so they have time to get it incase they aren't able to make it in. So I guess there is a chance of pregnancy but I think it is minimal. If you are worried you can take a test but it wouldn't show positive within days of having sex. I would wait 2-3 weeks before testing, if you feel you wanna test.
