Birth control question/bleeding

So, I started taking Lo Loestrin Fe June 2nd. Also, I feel like I should mention this is the first time I've ever been on birth control. So this is start of week 7. And since July 7th or so, I've gone between spotting to regular period bleeding. (Not that i bleed very heavy at all, but still.) And along with that, I'm cramping worse than ever. Also, it's made me the moodiest most emotional person since the second week of taking it. It's diving me and my boyfriend crazy, even though he realizes this isn't me, it's the pill. I cry over nothing, and every little joke hurts my feelings so badly. I go back to my doctor next Friday, but I don't know if I can stand it that long. Are these normal side effects? Should I call my doctor before the appointment and see if she thinks I should  stop taking it? Because that's what I feel like I need to do. Just curious of what ya'lls opinions are on it.

I actually was on this birth control for the very first time as well before I switched to the generic brand of Lo Lestein Fe. I had the bleeding here and there, but I was still experiencing the cramps which was the main reason I went on birth control in the first place. Maybe when you go to the doctor you should mention switching to the generic kind of this birth control. I hope this helps & good luck to you! It can be a pain, but there's a birth control pill out there that best suits you.
