Boy or Girl Myths....My Husband

Anyone know any of the tips for the old myth ways to find out really early on if you're having a girl or boy?  Something with draino or a needle...i just don't know what they are.  ALSO!  let me brag on my husband.  He is being so great!  He left work early today to go pick up the house.  I've been sick all day at work and he's going home to get dinner and the bed ready for me.  He's such a prince!!  Mmmm I love him!

Old Cuban Wives tale...My friend is Cuban and she has all of these "old wives tales" ways of telling what gender the child is...I don't really believe in this stuff but she did it to a friend of ours and it was right!  Have someone place 2 chairs in a room [while you are out of it] and on one chair place a knife and cover it with a cloth of some sort..on the other chair place a spoon and cover it...when you enter the room pick a chair, sit on it, then look at what is under the cloth...It is believed that if you sit on the knife you will have a boy and a girl if you sit on the spoon.

WOW!!!!!!  You are lucky - My DH is usually like that too when he is able to be.  He is a High School band director PLUS director of music at our church so he is ALWAYS busy but he still finds time to clean the house when he gets home cuz even though I am home ALL day I have an almost 15 month old boy and I have NO TIME to do anything in this house.

As far as old wives tales - That is all they are TALES.  There is no truth to them and I heard the Drano thing can be dangerous so I would suggest NOT doing that LOL!!!!!  Do a Google search for a Chinese Gender Chart.  They are purely for entertainment but they are fun and with both my kids and my sisters kids it was right.  Have a look.  Much safer I think LOL.  Good Luck to you and get lots of rest now.
