Can they see thc in my urine test for a doctors visit

I went to the doctor for a check up and talked about my yeast infection so he wanted to give me a urine test. I smoked less than a week ago. About 5/6 days ago. Not even one full joint. First time ever and when I took the test I put a little water in there because I was trying to wash pee off the side of the cup. Could this affect my test and will they know I've smoke recently. also I'm 16 so will they tell my mom?

oh my.  Honestly, diluting your urine doesn't help and isn't wise when they are trying to diagnose you.  Put your health first always and don't do things like that.  As for THC in urine, if they are looking for drugs, yes, it shows up in a urine test.  A basic urinalysis though, they are probably not checking for drugs and it would not have been tested for.  However, that you added water (they aren't dumb, if it were that easy, all who use drugs would do this) and they will surely know---  you've just made them suspicious of you. Pot is one of the hardest drugs to get out of the system and can show up in a urine test for 2 months.  But if you get 'caught' ---  this would be because you tried to outsmart a urine test which no one can do.  So, basically, GOT yourself caught.  I don't know if they'll talk to your mom.  Not sure what the laws are surrounding that.  You're a minor.  I'd be pretty livid if a doctor kept that kind of information from me about my kids.  So, I don't know the answer to that.  But your mom could request test results as your caregiver and could see it even if they didn't tell her.

Bottom line, if you were just getting a yeast infection checked so they wanted to run your urine to make sure you also didn't have a urinary tract infection, they probably would not have pulled up THC in your urine as they weren't drug testing you.  That you messed with your sample---  that is a red flag they most likely will notice.  good luck
