Could I be pregnant?

I had my last period the 22 of April....On the 16th of May i started what seemed to be my period....It was normal the first couple of hours then it turned to a dark brown discharge and was barely there at times....Then the next day it was very light pink and went away that same day....It only lasted two days...Which has never happened.....I had no signs of pregnancy except pains in my lower abominal and my stomach cramps all the time likke im on my period....I took a hpt before the bleeding occured and it was neg. then i took one 2 days after and it was also neg.  I dont know what this means can anyone help me....My lower back constantly hurts also.....My normal period wasnt supposed to be here until the 28 or 26th...My period are usually normal...But last month I had 2 normal periods just 2 and a half weeks apart....Can someone give me some infor i dont have insurance and can afford to go to the doc....???
