The depo is horrible!!! 1 dose can stay in system up to a year. I sugest to go to your doctor and ask about a different type of birth control. Either a pill or IUD.

I was on depo and just got off in June. It messed my periods up really bad. I wanted to try to another child with my husband, but Im not even ovulating now because of Depo. If the bleeding keeps up I would go in tothe doctor and get put on the pill. It will regulate you cycles and you dont have to stay on them but for maybe a 2 or 3 months. But as for Depo I wouldnt recommend it to anyone,
