IUD with pregnancy symptoms, but negative test....HELP???

I had an IUD put in last Jan after I had my son and every month I have a period(I call it "what's the point period") but this month it hasn't come and I have sore boobs and they feel so heavy now and i'm dischargeing clearish stuff and i'm also having mild cramps off and on. Acouple of days ago I was having ligament pulling down below my belly if I moved wrong or if I sneezed, like I did when I was pregnant with my son. I think my last period was at the beginning of Oct. Well i took a test this morning when my hubby got up for work at 5:30 and it came out negative, could it have been to soon??? Please let me know what you guys think.

Just found that out too and totally agree with you!  Had mine removed last week and now feel sick to my stomach every morning, very tired and hungry all the time.

For those of you who don't believe that it's statistically possible to be pregnant because of an IUD, here's the flat mathamatical statistical proof that there is a possibility.

I live in a city with a population of about 90,000.
Of those people about 45,270 are women. (50.3%)
Of those women about 27,162 are of breeding age. (60.5%)
Of these women about 8,148 use an IUD. (about a third)
Now, if the ratio is about 7 out of 1,000 women using an IUD get pregnant that means that roughly 57 women in my home town have a likelihood of getting pregnant with the IUD still in place.

How's that for scary?!

Just want to let you know, you're not alone...

I had my IUD put in back in July. After the initial bleeding I haven't had a period. Then, back in October I get a random day of spotting followed by - you guessed it - no further periods. (Yay, no periods.) But then in December I start getting all the pregnancy symptoms I had with my first baby. I chalked it up to side effects of Mirena - right?

Well, about three weeks after I get the first symptoms I get these freaky movements. Again, I chalked it up to gas or some weird abdominal spasm. No biggie.  But the movements have been persistent for the last month and it's making me worry. And I mean like really freak out.

Does anyone have a clue as to what it could be? I mean, my gas isn't that bad to have lasted a month straight...

Hi, I have the same exact situation / question as you.  Did you ever get a response? I've had my Mirena in for 7 years now.   I love not getting periods, but hate the side effects:  #1: weight gain! I was always thin like mentioned; but after Mirena, my weight climbed so fast, I've not been able to get it back down after all these years! Breasts are tender, mood swings, etc..I also took a pregnancy test once as I was sure I was, but negative. Now my husband is "fixed" so no longer worry about that. I just want to know if I should get it removed, or if  "the worse is over" for symptoms and I can keep enjoying  no periods.
