Is this a stomach bug?

I woke up Friday vomiting and diarrhea. The vomiting stopped after one day, but on Sunday, I still have diarrhea and my ovaries have hurt the entire time. My period is about to start, but my ovaries have never hurt more than 1 day before I start. Help!

Hello,

The vomitings and diarrhea can be due to gastroenteritis but for the ovarian pain, premenstrual symptoms can cause such pain. It can be avoided by taking  a balanced diet rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals. Avoid excess caffeine, alcohol and smoking.

Indulge in mild exercises everyday. You may take some pain killers like acetaminophen for pain relief. But of problem persists please consult  a gynaecologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
