Itching Vagina

I am 15 years old, and for the past two or three days, my vagina has been itching severely. There is no discharge (I don't think) so I don't think it is a yeast infection. I am not sexually active, so it's not an STI. I can't take it-- it itches so badly. I used some Pinkxav because I thought it was some sort of irritant or rash, but it is not working/helping. I haven't told my mom, because I thought it would just go away; but I really don't know what to do now because it is unbearable. It is 2:30am right now, and for the past few nights I haven't been able to sleep because the itching and slightly burning sensation is so bad. I try not to itch it, because I don't want to make it bleed or anything. So what I'm asking is, what is this? And if any of you have had this, what should I do to make it stop?

It's possible to still have some sort of infection without tons of obvious discharge. You likely have a yeast infection although it could still be bacterial. If it is a yeast infection you can take an over the counter remidy which will clear it in a couple days. If it's bacterial you will need to go through your doctor, will probably need to get swabbed, and then you will be put on antibiotics.
