Period not stopping

I have been bleeding from my period since the 25 of november 08 til  today when I am writing this. It is not constantly heavy in fact it is only heavy/normal regular flow for the 5 days that it is supposed to happen on and then it is spotting or slightly more then that in between,in fact it is currently spotting like that. Also there is no pain.I'm 26 years old,no kids, never been on any kind of birth control and i'm alittle concerned.I know the most common answer whould be go to the doctor but I'm looking for answers for self treatment like vitamins and such.

I had that problem, mine was due to birth control, I was on it for 6 months straight.  For you it could be stress related, diet changes... Have you added any new activity to your daily schedual?  Is there any pain?
