Thanks for your help, I have to wait untill it gets back to normal again.
I have used normal birth control pills for 5 years but when I stopped
taking them I felt so much better that I prefer not to use this type of birth control again. Now I have not taken birth control pills for 3 years and I feel more alive, more positive, and I lost a lot of weight, back to how I was before I ever used this pills. During ovulation I always feel so good, thats how I know if when I have my ovulation. Now this plan B reminds me of the effect synthetic hormones have on my body. I will not take plan B again.
I have never taken the pill before, but I do know that because it is such an increased level of hormones in your body, you cycle will be off at least for one or two months. Just continue to keep track of how your cycle is from now on for a couple of weeks. You may not get another period for another couple of weeks.
Hi there. Well, all you describe is a typical pattern for plan B. Basically it is a big dose of hormones that shakes up your system (how it works to prevent pregnancy) and the effects of that can last a couple of months or so. You'll eventually go back to normal but this is why I always tell young people to use Plan B only in emergencies and very rarely! During this time, it is really important to use condoms or another forum of birth control as you may ovulate at a different time than usual. good luck
