MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
These can be the symptoms of pregnancy. However to confirm the status of pregnancy, I suggest you to test for pregnancy by a highly sensitive pregnancy test 10 days post ovulation with a sensitive ( 20 - 25 mIU ) pregnancy test. Also then I would suggest you to get your serum HCG levels estimated since this is more specific than urine for pregnancy tests.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Hi,

Did you take the pregnancy test using first morning urine, and after being late for your period?  I'm unclear after reading your post if you are late for your period or not.  You could schedule a doctor appointment and have them take a blood test.  The symptoms you are having could be from not taking the pill properly, especially the brown discharge.  Usually home pregnancy tests are quite accurate.  I would try to be more diligent about taking your birth control on time, same time every day and see if the symptoms get better.  If not, I'd probably then take another hpt and if that turns out negative, then maybe it's time to see the doctor to make sure nothing else is going on.  Good luck and let us know how it goes :)
