Pregnant and yeast infection won't go away!

I'm 16weeks pregnant and month ago notice a little itching, discharge, and swelling after intercourse. It was quite painfull a bit because it burned..especially after I urinated. I told my doc I thought it was an yeast infection and he prescribed me a pill..I took it with a glass if water. The description said most people feel better and symptoms lesson within 24.hours its been 5 days and it seems to gotten worse.. way More discharge, alot more inchiness especially at night and morning.. It swells during the day at times especially when I whip myself.. I can't take it anymore what else should I do? I take more showers, change underwear because they get damp from the discharge and its quite discomfiting! I got checked before and don't have any std's . So why has my discharge color change to a yellowish after I took the pill? HELP!!

I spoke to my RE office since I have one starting I think and they said only external creams OTC. Nothing they can prescribe. I'm getting one after taking antibiotics they prescribed

If had success with Diflucan but its two pills and a cream that were prescriptions but I was not pregnant at that time so I don't know if it's safe or not. I would call your ob and let them know of your worsening symptoms.
Best of luck to you and congrats on your pregnancy!
