Severe Distention

Im 21 years old and just recently had a 6.5cm simple cyst rupture about 3 months ago.  I had the classic symptoms of a cyst; pain, bloating, urinary urgency, pressure etc.  However today I still have all the same symptoms, even when a recent transabdominal ultrasound (very painful vaginal ultrasound the first time) showed the cyst is gone.  I have seen a GI doctor since my GYN said it must be IBS.  I never had IBS before or even any bloating.... and the medication I got to help with IBS has not made the bloating go down the least bit.  I am very thin, so it looks like I am 2 months pregnant, especially after I eat.  I am hiccuping all the time too.

I am getting very frustrated and don't have any idea what would cause the distention to continue after it ruptured... I am off to see another GI doctor next week.  Cancer couldn't be a possibility without a cyst present right?

Thank you for any responses I appreciate it
