Swollen vaginal lips

My boyfriend and I haven't seen eachother for a few months! About a week ago we saw eachother again for the first time . We have sex now All the time and now my vaginal lips are really swollen. I wouldn't have noticed it unless he said something but now they hurt a little when I touch them, is that just from having a lot of sex? Will it go away? Or do I have to go to the gyno? I'm out at school and i don't have a gyno out here and i fell a little uncomfortable going to see the male gyno on campus!! Please help!!

If its not thrush infection, then its probably just from all the friction of sex. Mine don't normally swell but did the other night for first time in a major way. After a mini freak out on the discovery of my swollen lips, and thinking it was some sort of allergic reaction (it wasn't) I wrapped up an ice pack in some paper towel and sat on it, and it made the swelling go down. I took it off after about half an hour and went to sleep and all has returned to normal the next day. I had no pain or itching at all though. Pain and itching means go get some thrush cream/tablet and curb the intake of beer and vegemite till it all calms down!
