Upper abdominal movement

For the past month I have been experiencing very strange movements in my upper abdomen.  It seems to be around the middle of the belly.  The feeling starts and actually feels like when I was pregnant and the baby would drag a foot or whatever across.  I am not pregnant (80 years old) and I am getting concerned as to what it might be???
Thank you.

Thanks for your comment, Eve.  I saw him yesterday.  He is taking this seriously and setting up a CT scan for me in the next few days.  Also had a lot of blood work done.  He told me if it all comes back negative and still having problems he has set up an appt. with a gastroenterologist (which I will cancel if my doctor can figure out what the problem is).  I will certainly let everyone know if there is an answer because out of all the people who posted the same symptoms and their fears, not one person posted back if they ever found out what it was.  That was discouraging.  Thanks.  Junie

Hi Junie344,
Perhaps you should make an appointment to see your family doctor
to find out what's going on. I wish you luck. Eve
