Getting your period even though you are pregnant can be because the pregnancy hormone that stops your period isn't high enough yet. Sometimes the placenta implants too low in your uterus and sits over your cervix - this happened to me with my daughter and I had breakthrough bleeding. You need to see a doctor to find out why you are bleeding and find out how far pregnant you are.
