Vaginal Odour

Hello,
I'm having a problem with vaginal odour and am looking for a way to get rid of it. For approximately the last 6 months I've noticed that had a b.o. (body odoour) smell coming from my vagina. Actually the smell is generally strongest from my underwear, but if I change them then the smell is back in a short time period. I don't smell right after showering, but when I start to smell usually depends on what I'm doing during the day. I've never had this problem before and don't smell anywhere else. I shower at least once a day (more if I smell down there) and change my underwear frequently. There's no discharge, however my underwear is damp enough to be considered wet. I've tried shaving all hair so that there's nothing for the smell to attach to, and I also wash very thoroughly with soap. This all sounds so disgusting I know, but I just want it to go away! Any help is greatly appreciated!

I'm so glad I found this website. I've been dealing with this problem for about 6 months now. I've been sexually active with more than 1 person and the guy I'm with now I've been with for over a year. He's been tested for STDs recently and came back negative so I don't think that is my problem. He recently started not being intimate with me and informed me that I do have a smell down there. I was aware of it before but I wasn't sure if anyone else could smell it. It's a very fishy smell and gets really bad right before and right after my period. I've always been a very clean person but I can't find anything to help. I have a white colored discharge that is sometimes watery but sometimes thick like cottage cheese almost.. After reading I believe it might be a yeast infection or bv. I read that bv can also cause pain during intercourse which is what I experience also. I've only used a tampon like maybe 5 times so I don't believe that's my problem. Anyone out there have any suggestions? I dont have insurance right now so its hard to get to a doctor. And could a regular doctor help me with this? Like at a health department. Or just an obgyn?
Thanks.

Try taking long baths and adding 1/4 cup of bleach to your bath water. First clean your bath tube with bleach. Always make sure your tube is cleaned well with bleach are the smell will come back. Doctors cannot always find the bacterias that cause these systems. Many women suffer with odor problems and it is hard for them to deal with this when they have to work or have relationships. It is most important to take a bath at night sit in the tube with the 1/4 cup of bleach for about 30 min do this for five nights in a roll and when you get out of the tube rube yeast medicine or monistate 7 on your body the bleach will dry you out. Don't use other lotions because they will help to hold the dampness in and the bacteria will grow.
