i had a similar problem with itchiness around the anus and perineum. It was due to a yeast infection and because I let it go too long, I ended up developing infected cuts from the scratching and yeast combo. So definitely go to the doctor NOW! Do not wait....I don't suggest healing this on your own. They gave me a pill and steroid cream to stop the itch and it was an antifungal as well. It worked wonders, but I am still recovering because I waited too long for treatment. I agree with Laura....no soap and loose cotton clothing. Try no panties at night too. Please go because trust me...it can get really bad.
something like that happened to me and i ended up having a yeast infection. i usually always knew when i had one but this time i didnt and i thought it was because i was useing scented pads. but it was a yeast infection
I have had similar problems which turned out to be dermatitis. You really need to see a doctor, but in the meantime to stop using soap of any kind in that area. Also try only wearing cotton underwear and washing this by hand with water only. The soaps can set up an allergic reaction which will make matters much worse. It has worked for me. Best wishes
