Hi Stephanie,
I have PCOS and have joined groups and read tons of articles and done so much research! My husband and I have been TTC for almost 4 years unsuccessfully. One of the women in one of my groups has been doing research on folic acid and another supplement called inositol and when combining the two together seems to be helping a lot of PCOS patients get pregnant. I am going to try it myself! Good luck!
Just research it and whatever you're comfortable with try.

Hm. In all honesty, I've never heard a thing about folic acid helping anyone get pregnant as a woman that tried to get pregnant for almost two years and then went through two pregnancies and a mother of two. Folic acid is taken to enhance development of a growing fetus.
as to progesterone oil, I would absolutely do nothing like that if trying to conceive without doctor supervision. Any type of hormone added or taken away can mess up the natural cycle of things. And unless a doctor tells you that you specifically need progesterone as you are deficient in it, I would not risk make your ability to conceive even more off track by doing that on your own.
The biggest thing for getting pregnant is timing. Track your cycle. Day one of your period is day one of your cycle. Then begin having sex every other day on day 10 of your cycle and do so EVERY OTHER day for the next 10 days (longer if you have a long cycle.)
Best thing to do is talk to your doctor as well. good luck
Women have claimed Folic acid and progesterone oil have helped them get pregnant.

No vitamins help you get pregnant. There are vitamins to take that some believe are important while a baby is developing called prenatal vitamins. folic acid is the key ingredient there. But until you are pregnant, you can take just a good multi vitamin or a prenatal if you feel so inclined. However, these do not enhance fertility. Wishing you luck.
