tampon hurts when taking out and it is completely soaked!

My tampon hurts when i try to take it out! this is my third time using them. When i googled it they said it was probably to dry but it wasn't. It also said it can be getting stuck in my hymen?? i don't know what that means and how to make it not get stuck! pls help

Hi there.  No, probably not getting stuck in your hymen.  :>)  Maybe you aren't changing it frequently enough if it is puffed up big absorbing your menses.  It can hurt when they are dry but also if too full.  You only insert to the end of the tampon part (so half of it).  Don't go further than that.  You should have the strings readily hanging out.  It takes a little getting used to them but it will be old hat soon.  Hang in there.  good luck
