Yeast Infection

Hi. I went to the doctor before i got married because i had a foul odor and nasty discharge. According to him I had no sign of STD nor yeast infection. He gave me antibiotics and it stppoed a little. It came back a month after and same foul smell. It started itching this time so i went back to a lady doctor who did another test to check for yeast infection and came out perfect. She said the discharge is normal but its just too much. I took monistant and it paused for a couple of weeks but came back. I dnt know what to do now I have had it for 6 months straight and i dont want to go waste my money if they are going to tell me Im perfect... i know that my husband is suffering because sometimes its too nasty to smell and i am nit confortable having sex andthis thing at the same time. I really need help I dont feel confortable talking to snyone in my family abour this.

Another thing is that my husband wants a baby but i dont think i can get pregnant because of this.

Please help im very frustrated!!!

It sounds like BV you need antibiotics to get rid of it. It's not yeast

The first time i visited the doc he gave me antibiotics and a pharmacist said that sometimes that makes it worst so i went back after 2 months but still nothing. I wish i could go back and tell me i have something to atleast know how to treat it. My husband is very understanding he was actually the one who went to buy me the monistat because i was embarrased. :)im just so frustrated...what pill was that? I keep reading that birthcontrol pills help ...is it true? Ive heard so many negative thibgs about birth control.

I had a similar problem and the doctor gave me a pill that I had to insert into my vagina which stopped the problems almost instantly. I did once a month for three months and it stopped. In the meantime, its simple enough to wash before sex or even invite your hubby into the shower with you. You won't feel as self conscious this way. I dont think it would affect your fertility in the slightest but maybe you should visit a Family Planning Clinic just to be sure. Good Luck!
