am I in active labor
Hi I am 37 weeks and 5 days pregnant with my second child. I went to doctors yesterday and found out I was 3 cm dilated and head down. I have had consistent abdominal pain for 2 weeks now. Also I have lost my mucus plug. I am in back labor with contractions every 8 minutes in my lower back. Lastly I have had watery loose stool (tmi sorry). Does this mean labor is near? Could I have baby in next 24 hours?
You are having signs labor, I would continue monitoring the contractions, with my son I ONLY had the contractions in my back not my tummy (back labor) sometimes you have the loose stools up to a week before delivery. IF you get to worried have the doctor recheck you. GOOD LUCK & CONGRATULATIONS!
