birth control

does anyone know, when you start taking birth control, how long before it starts becoming effective?  i mean, does it start working right away or do you need to be on it for a while before it works properly?

Did he ejaculate inside you? If so, of course there is the possibility of pregnancy. Make sure you take a test just to be sure. I'm glad you decided to start birth control-that is very responsible of you :)

To be safe you should give it a month. That way you've taken it for a whole cycle and that gives it time to work through your system and work accordingly!
